Fadhel Jaïbi is a Tunisian director. He is
a figure of contemporary Arab theater.
Fadhel Jaibi completed his theater
studies in France between
1967 and 1972. He then served as director of the National
Conservatory of Dramatic Art from 1974 to 1978 and founded
with Jalila Baccar the first Tunisian private
company, “the New Theatre” in Tunis in 1976 and the
company Familia Productions in 1993.
He has to his credit more than
twenty plays, including hostages Corps, and four
films.
